Unit1 Living Well
一、教材分析
Book 7 is important to students to learn words and expressions, we just copy the appendices for students. In the learning materials, we turned the passage into the rational close. Students are curious about the text, which develop a hardworking environment.
In this period, the teaching emphasis will be put on developing students’ reading ability by reading extensively. We will deal with Marty’ Story . While reading, get students learning to use some reading strategies such as skimming, scanning, and so on. As to new words and phrases, I can review the words and expressions. Checking their answers with the whole class, deal with language problems students can’t works out by themselves. This is extensive reading lesson, so the teaching steps should be simple. As to reading task, ask students to read through the passage and learn more about the Ancient Games.
At the end of the class, ask students to practice the words and expressions, and reread this story.
二、教学目标
1 Get students to learn some useful new words and expressions in this part: sit around, annoy, ignore, spendXXXXX (in) doing sth, all in all, look after, ambition ,worthwhile, firm, tank, software
2 Get students to learn about how Marty’s life become easier.
3 Develop students’ reading skills by extensive reading.

三、教学策略选择与设计
“兴趣是学习之母”,没有兴趣是学不好的。因为有兴趣,学生就会产生积极的情绪;为满足好奇心,学生就要看、要听、要想、要问,思维也被激活。教师精心设计教学,就是要激发学生学习的兴趣,并在成功的体验中使学生的兴趣收到保护和激励。教师要善于通过各种手段,找准教学的切入口,诱发学生的求知欲。
四、教学过程
Step1 Review and ask questions:
What is like Marty’s life in Primary school?
Would this change later?
Step 2 Review the before part story.
Step 3 Read the passage paragraph by paragraph and finish the blanks. (group work)
1 read the passage and try to translate this paragraph
2 listen to the tape and check the answers
3 recite the important words and expressions
Step4 Let students have a prediction of the ending of this story. Review the important words and expressions.
Step 5 homework: Reread this passage and recite the important words and expressions after class.
五、课例研究综述
课堂教学构筑让学生有存在感的学习氛围与情境:
我们的课堂教学不能仅仅为了教书而教书,而要有人的身影。我们要营造氛围,让踊跃成为学生的学习习惯,才能打造出彩的课堂。
在实际教学过程中,我们要潜心钻研教材,努力为学生们创设更多丰富多彩、新颖有趣的英语实践活动,并有意识地为他们搭建展示的平台,提高他们活动的积极性与目的性,为我们的教学注入全新的活力。
