　　当一个句子充当宾语时，这个句子就称为宾语从句。 宾语从句与主句之间由从属连词来连接。

1.疑问词引导的宾语从句

　　由what，who，whose，which，why，when，where，how等连接词引导。

e.g. You may ask him when he comes.

Do you know whom (who) he will invite?

2.宾语从句的语序

　　宾语从句的语序必须是陈述句语序，尤其要注意whether/if和wh- 连接词引导的宾语从句的语序，即按照“主语+谓语XXXXXXXXXX”的语序。

e.g. Why is winter colder than summer? （特殊疑问句，疑问句语序）

→ Do you know why winter is colder than summer? ( 宾语从句，陈述句语序）

Where does he live? （特殊疑问句，疑问句语序）

→I don’t know where he lives.（宾语从句，陈述句语序）

3.宾语从句的时态

(1)主句使用现在时，从句可使用任何时态。

e.g. I think you are right.

I’m not sure if/whether he is telling the truth.

(2)主句使用过去时，从句须使用过去时态的某种形式

e.g. I didn’t know if he was at home yesterday.

(3) 如果宾语从句陈述的是客观真理、事实、自然状况等，用一般现在时态。

e.g. The teacher told me (that) the earth is round.

本单元的写作内容是询问信息。写此类作文时，首先要做自我介绍，简单说明询问信息的目的。然后使用一些礼貌用语，用不同的句式向对方提问，结束时要向对方致谢。
