一、 说教材

(一)教材的地位和作用 本单元的中心话题是提供帮助,所以整个单元的内容是围绕提供帮助以及志愿活动展开生动、活泼的对话和阅读。因为这些志愿活动与我们的生活密切相关,所以学生将会对本单元的话题产生浓厚的兴趣。通过本课的学习,引导学生体会志愿活动,培养学生的社会责任感,使学生学会关注社会,关心他人。第一课时的第一部分主要是通过1a1b听说练习帮助学生掌握目标语言和基本词汇,并通过1c训练学生能用英语向他人提供帮助。第二部分通过2a的听说练习帮助学生掌握更多的基本词汇并巩固目标语言,2b的听写练习帮助学生表达自己能做的和想做的事情并对事情做出规划。所有的这些听说读写练习都是用来帮助学生提高英语学习的综合能力。

(二)教学目标

知识目标 1)key vocabulary: hunger, homeless, clean up, cheer up, give out, sign, advertisement, put off, set up, establish, think up 2)target language: I’d like to work outside. You could give out food at a food bank.

I’ll help clean up the city parks.

能力目标 1)Train students’ speaking skill 2) Train students’ listening skill.3) Train students’communicative competence with the target language

情感目标:培养学生关注社会,关心他人,并养成乐于助人的优良品质。

(三)、教学重难点

1). teaching key points:master the key vocabulary and the target language, make conversations with the target language, teach students to express offering to help with the target language

2). Teaching difficult points: teach students how to use the new phrasal verbs, make communications with the target language

二.说学生现状

进入初三,学生最大的变化是在课堂中参与活动的热情较初一初二明显不足,往往是讲台上眉飞色舞,讲台下死气沉沉。学生不管会不会,总是不主动回答问题,导致的结果就是有时候课堂气氛很尴尬,老师很难把握学生对知识的掌握程度;有些学生初一初二时上课时注意力不集中,学习态度不端正,没有良好的预习复习习惯,久而久之上课跟不上老师的节奏,所以在初二第二学期明显地出现二级分化。由于初三教学内容的难度加深,学业负担加重,使部分学生的学习兴趣受挫,从而加剧了两级分化的现象;从期中考试学生的答卷情况来看,大多数学生做题粗心大意,不认真审题,理解能力差,对基础知识掌握的不够踏实,所以成绩不是很理想。个别学生对英语试卷有惧怕心理,考试态度不端正,做题不经过大脑思考。不过让人欣慰的是,面临中考巨大的压力,有一小部分学生进入初三后意识到英语学习的重要性,所以课内课外正在努力地学习英语。

三.说教法与学法

教学是教师的教和学生的学所组成的一种人类特有的活动,教学生体现了教师的主导作用,教学生学体现了学生的主体作用所以教与学是相辅相成的。本课时主要采用情景教学法,启发式教学和语言的应用交际能力,充分发挥老师的主导作用和学生的主体作用。通过多媒体课件为学生创设更多的情景,充分吸引学生的注意力,激发学生学习英语的兴趣。在教学过程中创设的情境和任务,一定要充分的发挥学生的主体作用。教学实践说明,只有学生自始至终的参与教学活动,自己发现规律获取知识,并举一反三灵活运用知识才算是真正有效的课堂的教学。

四.说教学过程

Step1,greeting and oral practice(1m)

What’s the weather like today?

Step2, revision(2-3m)

Review the language points in Unit7 by asking two questions.

Where would you like to go on vacation?(I’d love to/I’d like to/I hope toXXXXX)Why ?(because)

Who can say something about Paris?(what things do you like and what things you don’t like there)

Step3, leading-in(2-3m)

Teacher: The world is not so good as what we imagine. There are still lots of hungry people in the world today.(用课件展示一些穷人的照片,激发学生的同情人,问学生问题)What an you do for them?

Step4,Tast1(1a-1c)

1,read 1a quickly and list some other ways to help people.(2m)

4,ask students to listen again and repeat one by one.(2m)

5,practice the conversation in the picture above and then perform their conversations.(3m)

5. Check the answers and ask students to read loudly.(2m)

6. Ask a pair of students to read it and role play the conversation.(3m)

Step6 Conclusion and Homework.(3m)

1.Conclude what we have learnt today.

2.Make a plan about volunteer work, you must tell what you can do and what you want to do.
