教学设计
一、教学目标
1. 知识与技能(Knowledge and skill aims)
(1)能根据已学语音、音标及发音规则,正确朗读下列词汇并运用于情景对话中:writer, was, were, born, novel, thousand, fan;能够熟练读、写表示年份和月份的单词;
(2)能够用英语熟练表达关于询问和回答某人的出生地和出生年月的表达方式;能够正确使用be动词的一般过去时was/ were;
(3)能根据图文就表达年月、谈论出生年月和出生地点的表达方式进行简单的交流; 能正确地朗读对话,并能注意语音语调;能正确书写出年份以及表示月份的单词。
2. 过程与方法(Process and method)
(1)以自行总结和发现规律代替机械式记忆,快速掌握新知;
(2)强化语音语调练习,培养语言感悟,提高语言运用能力。
3. 情感态度与价值观(Emotion attitude and values)
通过相关活动,培养学生关注名人的生平事迹并向他们学习的习惯;能够体会到英语学习的兴趣,养成良好的英语学习习惯。培养学生学习英语的兴趣和积极主动的学习精神。
二、教学重难点
1. 教学重点
(1)正确使用表达年月、谈论出生年月和出生地点的表达方式
(2)正确读、写关于年份、月份的表达。
2. 教学难点
(1)be动词was,were在一般过去时中的应用;
(2)英语中十二个月份的正确朗读和书写。
三、教学实施过程
Step 1:Warm up(热身)
Get students ready for learning and do duty report.
设计意图:营造活跃的课堂气氛,激发学生学习新知的兴趣,凝聚学生的课堂注意力。
Step 2:Review(复习)
(1) Help students revise asking someone else’s name and nationality. Prepare for the new lesson.
(2) Introduce his/her favorite persons, such as writer, singer, etc.
设计意图:回顾学过的有关知识,复习有关的表达,为本课新句型的呈现做好良好的铺垫。
Step 3:Presentation(新知呈现)
(1) Show a calendar to students and teach the new words one by one.
(2) Do 1c. Read after the teacher for several times to learn 12 months.
(3) Do 1a. Guess the woman; And pay attention to the two questions: When was she born? Where was she born?
设计意图:1. 通过对词汇和句型的拓展运用,使句型在实际运用中体现语言的实践性和工具性。2. 运用任务型教学方式:先听,再回答,后出示课文内容,体现对教学重点的最大化突出。
Step 4. Practice(练习)
(1) Play the tape , and let students follow the tape and pay attention to the reading of 1965; Finally point out the key sentences in the dialogue. Then listen to the tape again.
(2) Do 1b. Answer the questions together and fill in the blanks in 1b individually.
(3) Read 1a after the tape; Look and listen to the teacher carefully.
Step 5.Consolidation (延伸和巩固)
(1) Read 1a after the tape sentence by sentence. Practice the sentences in pairs.
(2) Practice the sentences in 1c and survey the birthday and birthplace of your group members. Then one student in every group reports it to the class.
(3) Do 2a. Talk about the rule of reading different years. Read the first six years and write the rest in English.Check the answers with partner. Then the whole class check the answers together.
Do 2b. Listen to the tape and write down the year or month in each conversation. Check the answers.
Do 3a. Try to read the words by yourselves.
(6) Do 3b. Look, listen and circle the words. Then listen again and check the answers.
设计意图:体现新课程标准以人为本的思想,从多方面培养学生的综合运用能力。学以致用,投入生活。
