一、教材分析

本课选自人教版Go For It七年级下Unit1 Unit 1 My name’s Gina.

阅读部分，本单元的主要话题是介绍自己和认识朋友。本课课型是阅读课。



二、教学目标

 知识目标:1) 能掌握以下单词： first name, last name, friend, middle school, China

2) 能掌握以下句型：

① — What’s your/his/her telephone number?

— It's…

② — What's your first/last name?

— My first/last name is…

③ — What's his/her first/last name?

— His/Her first/last name is…

3) 能辨别英文中的姓氏与名字，了解中英文中姓名之间的区别。

4）阅读简短的句子或文章获取相关信息的能力。

技能目标: 1)．能运用所学的语言知识进行交际。



三、学生学习能力分析

初一学生在小学见过一些英文名，但对姓和名的相关文化部分没有了解，总体阅读能力有待提高。基于学情和本单元的话题，教师将注重让学生，训练学生提取信息的能力，并尝试运用相关句型表达观点。



三、教学策略选择与设计

帮助学生比较中英文姓名的不同之处，通过了解中英文名字的区别，培养和提高学生对中外文化差异的敏感性和鉴别能力，加深对本国文化的理解和认识，培养学生的世界观意识，以及初步的跨文化交际能力。



四、教学过程

1. Revision

A: Hello! What’s your name？

B: My name is …

A: What’s your telephone number?

B: It's /My telephone number is …

A: Nice to meet you.

B: Nice to meet you,too.

7．Circle the names in the message.

8. Read the message and match them with the pictures.

9.Circle the first names and underline the last names

10．Read and match the names with the telephone numbers.Then find three pairs of friends in the name list.



五、课例研究综述

在英语教学中，文化，即英语国家的历史地理、风土人情、传统习俗等丰富的文某某，接触和了解英语国家的文化有利于对英语语言知识的理解和使用，有利于在加深对本国文化的理解与认识的基础上培养世界意识，最终具备面向世界的国际视野。在本课教学中我刻意让学生对比文化差异，培养跨文化交际意识，同时注重语言技能，即听、说、读、写、译等的综合发展。
