Part A Let's talk.

B:It’s green.
Difficult points: Learn how to talk about the color.

Today ,it’s a pleasure for me to stand here,and I’m very glad to have such a chance to share some of my teaching ideas with you.
My topic today is taken from Unit 8. This is an important lesson. so it is helpful to raise learning interests of students and it will be also helpful to improve their spoken English.
1、Revision.
We will learn Part A,let’s talk.It is a dialogue.Before our new lesson,Let’s review last lesson together.
a,Read new words:
First,look at the picture.(show the picture)
T:What is it?(S:It is a dog.)
T:Let’s look and say the color.
S:...
color,blue,black,white,brown,red,yellow,green,orange.
b,Learn the words by heart in a special way(特殊记忆).
(1),color,c-olo-r,眼睛连着c和r.
(2),yellow,黄色的,叶子落了。
(3),orange,or-an-ge,或者一个橘子,橙色。
2、New Concept: Part A. Let's talk.
1.A:How many crayons do you have?
B:Eight.Look!Blue,black,white,brown,red,
yellow,green,orange.
2.A:Do you have a pen?
B:Yes,I do.
A:What color is it?
B:It’s green.
Step 1.Translation.
Look at the pictures,try to translate the dialogue into Chinese.
Step 2.Teaching and take notes.
a,-How many crayons do you have?
-Eight.
b,-Do you have a pen?
-Yes,I do. / No, I don’t.
c,-What color is it?
-It’s green.
Step 3.Read after the teacher.
Now,follow me,read the dialogue carefully.Are you ready?
Step 4.Read it together.
Step 5.Practice it in a small group.
Practice the dialogue in small groups(one ask,the other answer.)
or work in pairs.
Step 6.Act it out.
Let them try to act out the dialogue in front of the class.
Conclusion.
-What color is it?
-It’s green.
4、Homework:Learn the dialogue by heart.
