1、知识目标：
(1)让学生掌握以下单词,短语和句型：remain, smell, take place, by accident, It is said that…
(2)让学生掌握一般过去时被动语态的用法。
2、能力目标：让学生能够通过运用不同的阅读策略获取文章的信息。
3、情感目标：让学生通过了解茶的发明及发展，对中国的茶文化更加感兴趣。
二、教学重难点（说明本课题的重点、难点）
1、让学生掌握单词，短语和句型：remain, smell, take place, by accident, It is said that…
2、让学生通过运用不同的阅读策略来获取文章的信息。
三、学情分析（分析学生的知识起点、技能起点和态度起点）
九年级学生具备了英语的阅读能力，基本都能够通过skimming,scanning等阅读策略获取文章信息，完成相应的阅读任务。
在UNIT5学生已经学习了一般现在时的被动语态，对学生学习和理解一般过去时的被动语态打好了基础，作好了铺垫。
本节课学习的是茶的发明，九年级学生对未知事物充满了好奇心，因此学生对这一主题将会非常感兴趣。
四、教学内容分析（简要说明本节课的主要学习内容）
本节课是一节阅读课，主要教学内容是让学生运用不同的教学策略获取文章的信息，并掌握文章中的知识点及本单元的语法：一般过去式的被动语态。
五、教学方法设计（针对学习内容，设计教与学的方法）
本节课是一节阅读课，因此我将采用任务型教学法，让学生根据教师布置的阅读任务来完成阅读，同时我将采取小组合作的学习方法让学生共同探究完成教师布置的阅读任务。

九、教学反思
通过本节课的学习，可以看出学生基本都能够运用不同的阅读策略获取文章的信息，且能够理解和掌握一般过去时的被动语态，但由于课堂时间有限，学生对文章中的知识点没有完全掌握。
